As promised by our government and announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Duit Raya RM500 will be given on Wednesday (1st September 2010) and for pensioner they will be given on 6th September 2010 via bank and for warrant receivers it will be sent before that.
As reference, people who eligible to receive RM500 are government staffs whom are permanent, temporary, attachment, part-time and contract staff together all temporary teachers and officers on a half-pay leave
