    Pahang River International Raft Expedition

    Hi readers,

    As mush as 720 participants from our country and overseas starting their raft expedition today. There will be 120 raft at Jelai river Kuala Lipis. I went to watch their starting at Jelai river at Kuala Lipis as im from here. This expedition are eight days expedition which takes 329 kilometers to reach at Pekan, Pahang. They will pass seven villages on their way to Pekan.

    The seven villages along Pahang river are “Kampung Jeram Landak, Kampung Pulau Tawar, Kampung Pulau Pasir Mandi, Kampung Guai, Kampung Chenor, Kampung Baru dan Kampung Ganchong”.

    Tengku Mahkota Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah will be at the opening ceremony in Temerloh at 1st Mei. Moreover, Sultan Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah will be at the closing ceremony in Pekan at 4th Mei.

    The main objective of this expedition is to promote tourism in Pahang,Malaysia. Beside that, this expedition also to expose our culture in Pahang, traditional food, hand made craft, traditional game and more.

      all those rakit are beatiful bt can the rakit tahan until 4th mei? LOL……
